Tha Ka is perhaps the most charming and traditional of the green areas of orchards and farms surrounding Bangkok. Staying in a villager's comfortable home on a canal in a coconut orchard, you will have a genuine experience of old Thai hospitality. On this trip, you will enjoy the home cooking and be able to try your hand at producing coconut sugar with the villagers.

Day by Day Itinerary :
Date 1 : Bangkok - Samut Songkram
Bangkok - Samut Songkram - Ampawa/Ta Kha Floating Market (L,D)

am Pick up from a hotel in Bangkok , travel to Ta Kha Village, Ampawa (1.30hrs. drive). Walk to the host's Thai style of house, keep all luggage, and have lunch with the host. After that, row the boat to the floating market. Observe people lifestyle, and visit neighboring gardeners, and local temple, etc. and buy something to cook for your dinner.

Overnight (homestay) in the coconut garden.

Date 2 : Samut Songkram - Bangkok
Produce Coconut Sugar-Departure (B,L)

am Early morning, join the host to offer food to monks who row a small boat along the canal to let people make merit. After breakfast, learn the whole process of producing coconut sugar and have a trial. A real great experience!
