Tour Overview :
This tour takes in a multitude of historical sites while also plunging you into the profusion of colours, scents and smells of the massive Bangkok fruit, vegetable and flower markets. And, of course, Bangkok’s famous, Chinatown.
We begin the tour with a look at the significant religious minority influences this city has inherited. From the stunning Assumption Cathedral to the Haroon Mosque and onto the peaceful and relaxing Kian An Keng Chinese Shrine. Our journey continues past Wat Chakrawat where the monks keep live crocodiles and into the labyrinth of tiny streets that make up the fascinating and crazy district of Chinatown. From there we discover one of Bangkok’s biggest fruit and vegetable markets and the sensuous overload of the Pak Khlong Talat flower market. Across the ancient Chao Phraya River by boat we continue our exploration of the Thonburidistrict, which was established in the 18th century as the capital of Thailand. From here we meander our way along breezy river walkways through small local markets and villages back to the Follow Me Clubhouse.
On your return to the Follow Me Club House you can relax by the fishpond in our beautiful green garden. Enjoy a fish spa, a cool drink and refuel at our complimentary BBQ buffet. We also offer free Internet services so you can keep in touch with family and friends.
This route is easy and suitable for all ages with a maximum group size of 10 guests. All our tours are conducted in a relaxed and casual manner with frequent rest and refreshment stops.
